OPENING HOURS

The facility may be visited from Tuesday to Sunday with two access modes: 

“TOWER TERRACE WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS”: includes exclusive access to the terrace at the top of the tower, where visitors can admire all-round views of Bologna, also through panoramic binoculars.

“GUIDED TOUR + TERRACE WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS”: allows visitors to discover the astronomical collections housed within the museum. The tour will end on the terrace at the top of the tower, where visitors can admire all-round views of Bologna, also through panoramic binoculars.

Closed on working Mondays, January 1, May 1, August 15, December 24 and 25

N.B. The climb up the Tower requires considerable physical effort: visitors should be aware that the staircase comprises 272 steps. Admission is therefore not recommended for people suffering from heart conditions, dizziness and claustrophobia. For safety reasons, access to the Tower is not permitted to persons with reduced or impaired mobility; in the event of rain or snow, the roof terrace will not be accessible due to slippery floors. The tour will end on the seventh floor.
